Allergies are an overreaction of the immune system. The immune system normally protects the body from viruses and bacteria by producing antibodies to fight them. In an allergic reaction, the immune system starts fighting essentially harmless substances like dust mites, pollen, or a medication as though these substances were trying to attack the body. This overreaction causes problems that affect the skin, nose, lungs, digestive organs, and blood vessels. Allergic reactions may not occur the first time you are exposed to an allergy-producing substance (allergen). For example, the first time you are stung by a bee, your body’s response may be only pain and redness from the sting. With subsequent bee stings, allergic symptoms, such as hives or difficulty breathing, may occur. This is caused by the response of the immune system.

Allergic Skin
With an allergy being an unordinary or hypersensitive response to exposure or contact, Allergic Skin describes skin prone to extreme or hypersensitive reactions when it is exposed or is comes into contact with common, generally tolerated substances. Some Allergic reactions are mild creating irritation which heals through the bodies own mechanisms after the substance is removed, while others can be severe resulting in a condition requiring further treatment.

Arthritis is generally classified as one of two types. Degenerative, or osteoarthritis, (also known as degenerative joint disease), is characterized as a chronic joint disorder involving the degeneration of cartilage (tissue between bones), and adjacent bone matter, at a “joint”, or place where two or more bones connect. Rheumatoid arthritis, an autoimmune disease, (disease in which the body attacks itself), where the joints (esp. hands and feet) are symmetrically inflamed, resulting in pain, swelling, stiffness, and often-eventual destruction of joint mechanics.

Arrhythmias: An arrhythmia is a change in the regular beat of the heart. The heart may seem to skip a beat or beat irregularly or very fast or very slowly. This is not necessarily caused by heart disease, however they do indicate often times serious problem with one’s heart. Types include, Atrial fibrillation, Paroxysmal atrial tachycardia, Ectopic beats, Ventricular tachycardia and ventricular fibrillation

The skin has not been over exposed to heat, sun, or other damaging environmental conditions.

Back Problem
Everyone has had a minor back problem at one time or another. Most of the time our body movements do not cause problems, but it’s not surprising that symptoms develop from everyday wear and tear, overuse, or injury. Back problems and injuries most commonly occur during sports or recreational activities, work-related tasks, or home projects. Back pain refers to pain anywhere from the area of the neck to the tailbone (coccyx). The back includes: * The bones and joints of the spine (vertebrae). * The discs that separate the vertebrae and absorb shock as a person moves. * The muscles and ligaments that hold the spine together.

Black Currant Oil contains 18 % of gamma linolenic acid, GLA, along with other polyunsaturated fatty acids. BCO contains also two essential fatty acids, linoleic acid and alpha-linolenic acid. BCO is the only common oil containing stearidonic acid.

Blackhead: also known as a “comedone”, the result of an infected sebaceous gland. A blackhead is often seen in cases of acne where the internal skin infection is only partially covered by a membrane (skin). Therefore a black area appears where the infection clogs the opening in the membrane.

Borage
Codina borage oil is obtained by crushing the seeds of the borage. This mechanical process guarantee the best quality. Borage oil contains 24 % of GLA (gamma linolenic acid). Your body converts this fatty acid to a hormone-like substance called prostaglandin E1 (PG1) which has anti-inflammatory properties. More… Normaly, your body can produce PG1 directly from the EFA Linoleic Acid (omega 6)Disease, aging, menopause, saturated and hydrogenated fats, lack of vitamins B and C and mierals like mafgnesium and zinc can interfere. In this case, it is better to take this rich GLA oil. For children atopic dermatitis, the best is to apply directly on the diaper area three time a day. Most breast lumps and breast changes are normal.

Bruises and Blood Spots
To be change Bruises develop when small blood vessels under the skin tear or rupture, most often from a bump or fall. Blood leaks into tissues under the skin and causes the black-and-blue color. As bruises heal, usually within 2 to 4 weeks, they often turn colors, including purplish black, reddish blue, or yellowish green. Sometimes they spread down the body from gravity. A leg bruise usually will take longer to heal than a bruise on the face or arms.

Cholesterol
First at all, don’t forget that you need cholesterol… Cholesterol come from your food but it’s also manufactured by your liver for hormones production, bile acid and vitamin D. All your cell needs it. It is transported by the blood and the total amount of cholesterol should stay below 180 / 200. The amount of LDL (bad fat, level less than 140 mg/dl) and HDL (Good fat, higher than 35 mg/dl) is more important than the total amount. It is important to check with your doctor. You can lower your LDL and increase your HDL by nutritional means, that’s means lowering saturated and hydrogenated oils and use EFA rich oils like Hemp, Gold of Pleasure, Flax seed, Black Currant or Perilla oil. For the balance between omega 3 et omega 6 choose Hemp oil (1/3)

Crying Baby
To be change Crying is a child’s first way of communicating. The amount of time a baby spends crying usually increases from birth until the baby is about 6 weeks old, when a baby may cry between 1 and 5 hours out of 24. After 6 weeks of age, the baby will gradually cry less as he or she finds other ways of communicating or consoling himself or herself. However, some young children seem to cry for no obvious reason. It is estimated that 1 in 5 children have daily crying spells of 15 minutes to an hour, often in the evening.

Dandruff
See scalp problem

Diaper Rashes
To be change Diaper rash is a skin irritation caused by skin wetness, friction with the diaper material, and contact with chemicals in the urine and stool. The skin may look red, raw, scalded, or burned. While a diaper rash is uncomfortable, normally it is not serious. Diaper rash is the most common skin problem seen in babies and young children, but it can occur at any age if diapers or incontinence briefs are worn. The highest incidence of diaper rash is seen in babies between the ages of 9 and 12 months.

Diarrhea
To be change Diarrhea occurs when there is an increase in the frequency of bowel movements or bowel movements are more watery and loose than normal. When the intestines push stools through the bowel before the water in the stool can be reabsorbed, diarrhea occurs. It can also occur when inflammation of the bowel lining causes excess fluid to leak into the stool. Abdominal cramps and nausea may occur along with the diarrhea.

Homeopathic treatment

Diabetes
When your insulin is not making his job, you are enable to metabolize glucose (sugar) and it stays in the blood. It can lead to infections and others bad diseases. You have nutritional supplements that can be helpful. Evening Primrose Oil, Borage Oil or Black Currant for GLA (Gamma Linolenic Acid, Omega 6) , Vitamin E, B6, , B12, C, D, Zinc and increase basic omega 6 EFA such as Hemp Oil (20%), Gold of Pleasure (30%) or Perilla Oil (62%)

Dry Skin
A common occurrence, especially in people past middle age. Some common causes are cold weather, excessive washing, hormonal fluctuations, and diet. The common causes fall into two major classes, those originating from an external condition, and those originating from internal conditions. Dry skin can appear as mild, advanced, or severe, resulting in tightness, flaky scaly skin, itch and irritation, fissure or cracks, or in severe cases ichthyosis vulgaris, or epidermolytic hyperkeratosis.

Eczema
an inflammatory condition of the skin (dermatitis), characterized by dry, itchy skin, especially on the arms or legs. The common causes fall into two major classes- irritations, or allergic reaction. Symptoms may include blisters, redness, swelling, oozing, scabbing, scaling, and usually itching. Symptoms may be increased by, high stress levels, certain soaps or detergents, or poor diet (including food allergies).

Earwax

Essential Fatty Acid
EFA are a part of the lipid layer of the skin. They maintain the the elasticity of skin. Essential Fatty Acid have been known to be « essential » for the body.
EFA’s- include linoleic, linolenic, and arachidonic acids, as well as Alpha linolenic, which is a precursor to EPA and DHA. They can also be referred to as vitamin F. They are all poly-unsaturated fatty acids. They are named “essential” as the body generally cannot manufacture them, and they are needed for proper function and health. Essential Fatty Acids are fat molecules classified as either Omega 3’s, or Omega 6’s, and are responsible for a wealth of the bodies functions, including: healthy cell membranes (including the skin), the proper development and functioning of the brain and nervous system, production and regulation of hormones, the immune system and inflammatory responses, cholesterol regulation, blood pressure, and several other areas. It is important to maintain a balance of Omega 3 and Omega 6 oils. Many diets will include more Omega 6’s than Omega 3’s (2:1 in many cases), and this is why supplementation is important. Omega 3 can be found in oils such as flax seed, Gold of Pleasure, Hemp seeds, soybean, rapeseed (canola), pumpkin, walnut, and some other sources.

Fistulas:
A fistulas is an abnormal channel that connects two organs in the body. The symptoms may vary from no pain or discomfort, intermittent symptoms, and in some cases serious complications, especially when related with inflammatory bowel disease (IBS). A fistulas most often occurs near the anus or large intestine, however they can also involve the bladder, skin, and other. When treated promptly a fistulas can be healed and often with out long-term pain or discomfort.

Flu
an acute highly contagious viral disease. Although the flu is often confused with the common cold, it is in fact a more impactfull pathogen. The flu is normally contracted 1-4 days after exposure and symptoms may include; muscle ache, headache, loss of appetite, fever, chills, fatigue, sore throat, runny nose, cough, weakness, and can include nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea (often known as stomach flu). Symptoms may last from 5 days up to 2 weeks.

Hemorrhoids
considered to be a disease of the digestive system. Classified as a condition in which the veins around the anus or lower rectum are swollen and inflamed, and a condition where the lower rectum (large intestine) can protrude out of the anus causing extreme sensitivity, including pain, inflammation, and sometimes bleeding. Most commonly caused by excessive straining while eliminating bowels, also can be caused by; pregnancy, aging, chronic constipation or diarrhea, and anal intercourse.

Cancer
A cancer cell is one that has lost its normal control mechanisms and thus has unregulated growth. This unregulated growth has the potential to crowd out or otherwise eliminate other healthy cells, eventually invading adjacent tissues (metastasis). The cells unregulated growth also leads to a cell unable to operate or function normally there by compromising organ or tissue functions, thereby by inhibiting proper bodily function. Cancer cells begin as “normal” cells, but through a process known as “transformation” become cancer cells. The reasons for cells becoming cancerous are both known and unknown. They include internal factors- heredity, constitution, physical fitness etc.; and external- diet, environment, lifestyle, stress management, etc.

Hair Loss
Although the body is always naturally loosing and replacing hair, some times the loss can be unusual or excessive. Can be characterized as Male pattern baldness (affects men, hormone related), Female pattern baldness (less common, also hormone related), Toxic baldness (following sever illness especially high fever, or reaction to certain drugs), Alopecia areata (sudden loss in one area, may grow back), Hair pulling (often in children, sometimes mis-diagnosed as alopecia areata), scaring alopecia (loss in scarred area, possibly caused by- burns, severe injury, x-ray therapy; also and less obviously, persistent fungal or bacterial infections. Skin cancer may also cause scarring.

Lecithin
Nutrient containing phosphatidylcholine, found in many animal and plant foods like eggs, soya and wheat and also made by the body. It helps the breakdown of fats and cholesterol. Used to prevent arterial congestion.

Lung disease
- any of various imbalances affecting the soft lung tissue. Some common diseases of the lung include; asthma, cancer, COPD, hay fever, allergies, chronic bronchitis, pleurisy, pneumonia, and various others. Disease can cause obstructions, swelling, infections, tissue death (necrosis), wheezing, and others. Those with lung disease often suffer shortness of breath, strained breathing, chest pain, constriction, chronic coughing, inability to travel to high altitudes, allergy like symptoms, and various others. It has to be remembered that as the lungs are the primary source of new oxygen that lung disease immediately affects the entire body.

Mature Skin Care
you should see fewer breakouts, but you will begin to see the first signs of aging. Small changes begin to take place. First- the skin under your eyes begins to thin. As this occurs it is more likely that dark circles and puffiness will appear. Secondly- it is easier to store fat as the metabolism is slowing down. This can also increase the occurrence of puffiness under the eyes, and a beginning of “sagging” of other facial tissue. Thirdly- the skin looses more water at this age, which can lead to drying and also decreases the skins natural protection barrier. Fourthly- exfoliation slows down, and collagen and « elastin » fibers decrease. These factors all contribute to the beginning stages of wrinkles, lines, blemishes, discoloration, puffiness, and sagging. As you reach into the 40’s, add to the above list, the visible effects of “photo-damage.” Blotches, freckles, age spots, discoloration, and changes in skin color, begin to become more noticeable. Depending on the individual, pre-menopausal symptoms may contribute to the health of the skin at this time (see 50’s). The proper care of the skin during the 20’s and 30’s (along with diet) will determine the extent to which the skin will be affected during this period.

Memory Loss
To be change Adults of all ages occasionally forget where they put their keys or glasses, where they parked their car, or the name of an acquaintance. Older adults may take longer to retrieve memories. Although not all older adults experience memory changes, they are a normal part of aging. This type of memory problem is more often annoying than serious. Memory loss that begins suddenly or that significantly interferes with daily life may indicate a more serious problem.

Menopause
after menopause, the body’s estrogen production has generally halted. With the primary function of estrogen in the skin being to keep it soft, supple, and hydrated, added moisturization, and cellular hydration become crucial. The skin is generally in a completely new state by this time. It is thin, maybe more dry, less elastic, and more susceptible to the environment and weather. The coloring is varied with a combination of sunspots, age spots, and other pigment variations being more prominent. While most of these changes cannot be reversed or halted entirely, maintenance can slow some of the effects, and prolong the protective function, and cosmetic appearance of the skin.
50′ and more Skin Care : By this time the aging process is in high gear. The loss of volume and fullness (from the factors described in 30’s & 40’s section) gives way to loose skin and sagging. Pigmentary (pigment) changes continue, and the collagen breakdown becomes more noticeable. The skin will continue to thin, and lose its protective barrier. This will leave the skin more susceptible to the environment, weather, and bruising. Menopause is generally present, and hormone level production is changing during this time. This has a dramatic effect on the skin. Most notably is, due to the decrease in estrogen production, a loss of elasticity and color, as well as increased sagging and dryness of the skin. Additional changes that appear with the onset of menopause are the overproduction of oil, enlarged pores, and facial hair growth due to the presence of testosterone.

Moisturizer :
the superficial layers of your skin require an acceleration of blood circulation. You will notice a tingly sensation on your skin immediately after application. The butter will penetrate deep into your skin, leaving a satin finish to the skin. The protection is real and will last a long time. Sheabutter softens the lips and gives them a protective film against the cold. Sheabutter also helps irritated noses due to allergies or colds. A little dab of butter may applied in each nostril.
Black Cumin	Nigella. The traditional uses of Black Cumin ar now confirmed by recent studies. Anti-inflammatory effects are probably due to the antioxidative action of its components thymoquinone and nigellone in ameliorating inflammatory diseases ( upper respiratory conditions, coughs, colds, bronchitis, fevers, flu). It is used to lower blood sugar level and to strengthen the immune system. Nigella contains also carotene which is converted by the liver into vitamin A. Anti-viral action against cold and flu. Dermatological activity acne and eczema. Do not take during pregnancy.

Myopathy
- any of various neuromuscular disorders. Myopathies most often affect muscles connected to bones such as the biceps in the upper arm and the quadriceps in the thigh. The primary symptom is muscle weakness, which is due to dysfunction of the muscle fiber. Other symptoms of myopathy can include muscle cramps, stiffness, and spasm. Myopathies can be inherited (such as the muscular dystrophies) or acquired (such as common muscle cramps). For those with a myopathy the prognosis will vary. Some individuals have a normal life span and little or no disability. For others, however, the disorder may be progressive, severely disabling, life threatening, or fatal.

Parkinson-disease
A disease caused by a brain disorder, occurring when certain nerve cells (neurons) in the brain die or become impaired. This region is called the “substantia nigra”, and normally the cells in this region produce a vital chemical known as dopamine. Dopamine allows smooth, coordinated function of the body’s muscles and movement. When approximately 80% of the dopamine-producing cells are damaged, the symptoms of Parkinson disease appear. Symptoms include: shaking (tremors), slow movement, dizziness (trouble with balance), stiffness, and can also include: stiff facial muscles, muffled speech, depression, and hand cramping when writing.

Perilla Chinese name : Zi Su English name : beefsteak plant or Perilla Very rich in EFA Omega 3 (60%) Efficient against Propionibacterium acnes

Pregnancy
During pregnancy the skin will change, perhaps drastically. This change will be different for each person, depending on his or her age, and the changes will be due to two main factors. First, Hormones are greatly fluctuating during this time. Each stage of the pregnancy requires the body to produce hormones in different amounts and combinations. This directly affects the skin’s state, as hormones control the oils, hydration, and subsequent elasticity and self-healing capacity of the skin. The second major factor in the skin’s changing, is the physical strain it endures through the bodies growth and changes and due expansion as a new being is growing, being nurtured, and sustained within. The significant affect these second factors contribute is stretching, that is the actual expansion of the skin. This expansion likes to tear and create “fibrin” growth as a protective and useful mechanism in dealing with this strain. These factors all contribute to visible skin changes including various degrees of “stretch marks” from mildly visible to raised and textured. Proper cell hydration and maintaining proper cell membrane health (suppleness) (including healthy fats and oils for actual membrane health, and the indicated EFA’s to help regulate the symptoms of hormonal fluctuation) can reduce and sometimes eliminate the occurrence of “stretch marks” and other associated long term effects of skin changes during this time.

Prostatitis
Bacterial or non bacterial inflammation of the prostate

Prostate	50 percent of the 50-year old men got it… the BHP or Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia. When prostate enlarge, there is a pressure on the urethra and you need to urinate very often, mostly at night. Increase your physical activity and adopt pumkin seed oil for his action on a specific enzyme, the 5 alpha reductase and modify your balance omega 3 / omega 6 for usual daily oils.

Prostate-inflammation- an acute swelling of the prostate, can easily develop into what is called prostatitis, which is an infection of the prostate gland. As the prostate gland sits on the outside of the urater this inflammation most often interrupts the flow of urine, often resulting in frequent nightly urination, and a feeling of having to urinate excessively. Causes can be, viral, bacterial, diet, or genetic.

Sensitive Skin
Characterized as skin with a thin or fine texture. It reacts quickly to heat and cold. The common causes include heredity, diet. Sensitive skin is generally not a reversible condition, how ever through continued care and maintenance a “normal” life is easy. Proper diet is crucial, as well as testing cosmetics, and sometimes supplementation of certain nutrients.

Stretch Marks
Characterized as stria (bands) on the skin, often raised, or textured and discolored. Stretch marks result from excess stretching which may rupture the elastic fibers within the skin. Common causes are physical condition, (such as obesity, pregnancy), or diet/ nutrient deficiency

Sun Damage
Skin, which has been overexposed to sun, thereby incurring damage in the form of, burning, and or excessive dryness. Although Sun damage is usually attributed to external factors, certain internal conditions may allow for easier occurrence. Some conditions are sensitive skin, fair skin (white, creamy skin with less pigment), and imbalance due to poor diet.

Spider Veins
Characterized as small enlarged superficial blood vessels that appear red or blue. They commonly occur on the legs, but frequently occur on the face or elsewhere. The common caused may include, heredity, nutrient deficiency, poor circulation, and unknown. Spider veins may appear as short, unconnected lines each about the size of a large hair or connected in a matted, « sunburst » pattern. They may also look like a spider web or a tree with branches. They can occur in small unnoticeable areas, or cover large areas of the skin, being quite noticeable.

Tachycardia
- an excessive elevated heart rate; can be sudden, or chronic. Tachycardia is a condition where the heart is beating faster than is necessary. This can be an acute condition caused by: trauma, fever or heart attack, or caused by heart disease, alcohol, caffeine, or the thyroid gland, and others. The symptoms can last from several minutes to many days, and the heart rate can reach 140-250 beats per minute.

Teen Skin Care
Skin during this time can vary greatly. The major factors at play during this time are fluctuating hormones, as well increased exposure to environmental conditions and weather (i.e. sun). The skin is making a transition during this time. Up until this age the skin is generally very tight with pores not visible, very clear, with an even and taut complexion. When a teen goes through puberty the body begins to produce hormones in varying amounts and combinations. These hormones control the oil production of the sebaceous glands within the skin. The general effect is an increase in oil production, which leads to oily skin. If this is happening in certain areas of the skin and not others, this is combination skin (such as patches of oily and dry skin throughout ones face). As the production of oil increases, the chance for acne also increases. Also during this time the skin is often increasingly exposed to the elements of the environment and weather. Sun, swimming, sports, use of cosmetics, and other factors, contribute to the health and state of the skin. The sun is drying, hot, and causes an increase in pigment reproduction (darkening of skin). Swimming can be drying; as the water likes to take away the skins surface oils. Also if the water is treated with chemicals (chlorine, etc) these can further damage the skin. Cosmetics can impact the skin in a negative way as well. This will generally occur if, the cosmetics are impure or of a poor quality, the cosmetics are over-used, or not removed properly (left on too long, or the skin not effectively cleaned afterwards), or with allergic skin, or sensitive skin. In these latter cases it is important to find cosmetics that do not harm the individuals skin. It is important to care for ones skin during this age, as some damage can be permanent, and some of these factors while not immediately apparent will contribute to problems later in life.

Scalp Problems
It can be distressing when hair thins falls out, breaks off, or doesn’t seem to grow. Dandruff can cause embarrassment. An itchy scalp may be uncomfortable, while a scalp that scales, peels, or develops bumps or sores may be annoying or painful. Scalp problems can be quite upsetting, but most are not serious medical problems

Wrinkle
A small ridge or furrow in the skin especially when due to age, care, or fatigue. As the skin looses elasticity naturally with age, wrinkles will form. A variety of factors contribute to how and wear wrinkles will appear. Some of these are, the care of the skin throughout life (teen years, 20’s, 30’s, etc.), environmental factors (sun, wind, dry climates, etc.), diet, and variables (such as smoking). As wrinkles cannot be prevented or reversed completely, proper skin care, diet, controlling variables, and natural products; can slow, minimize, and partially reduce the occurrence.

The pores are tight; the sebaceous glands (oil producing glands) are functioning well and rarely clogged. The skin has not been over exposed to heat, sun, or other damaging environmental conditions.

Blackhead: also known as a “comedone”, the result of an infected sebaceous gland. A blackhead is often seen in cases of acne where the internal skin infection is only partially covered by a membrane (skin). Therefore a black area appears where the infection clogs the opening in the membrane.

Blood-disease: an imbalance in the primary fluid used to sustain the body. Where as the blood is responsible for the delivery of everything needed in the body including; oxygen, nutrients, immune components, hormones, etc. and the removal of all the body needs to eliminate such as; waste, excess, pathogens, etc., a disease of the blood is one of various imbalances, infections, depletions, excesses, or any other acute state where the blood is challenged either by internal or external factors. The symptoms can vary from mild to extreme, and may cause death.

Arrhythmias: An arrhythmia is a change in the regular beat of the heart. The heart may seem to skip a beat or beat irregularly or very fast or very slowly. This is not necessarily caused by heart disease, however they do indicate often times serious problem with one’s heart. Types include, Atrial fibrillation, Paroxysmal atrial tachycardia, Ectopic beats, Ventricular tachycardia and ventricular fibrillation.
Fistulas: A fistulas is an abnormal channel that connects two organs in the body.

Flu- an acute highly contagious viral disease.

Hemorrhoids- considered to be a disease of the digestive system.

Lung disease- any of various imbalances affecting the soft lung tissue.
